Laidback Luke, the ever versatile producer and label head at Mixmash Records, is out with a new jammer called "Pogo." On this track, Luke has teamed up with London MC, Majestic to create the heavy bass and pounding kick filled song. Following the release of the ‘Dub Mix’ earlier this month, the full single is out now on Beatport and features the full vocal mix as well as remixes from heavyweights Chuckie, Congorock, H.P. Vince and Deorro.
Following PeaceTreaty’s set was Tommy Trash. The Australian madman brought his usual head-banging rockstar lifestyle to the stage with champagne showers and an energy-level that puts pixie-stick swallowing children to shame. Dropping everything from his own “In n Out” and “Antidote (remix)” to Deadmau5’s “The Veldt” and Ducksauce’s “Big Bad Wolf,” the producer played hard and partied even harder.
The song is also to be a single on Example's third album (released September 4th, 2011), Playing In The Shadows. New Disaster will be released as the album's third single on October 16th, 2011, and if you still can't get enough of Example, be sure to check out his single after ND: Midnight Run (December 4th, 2011).
The power House Duo also released a documentary of the same name as their collaborated single. The cameras follow Laidback and Example through a day in Ibiza; wherein the two jokingly recall the first time they met each other.
