Just after announcing its 2013 roster of superstar DJ talent, Wynn Las Vegas is kicking things off this week during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Wynn is taking over Park City Live, formerly Harry O's, as the prime spot for non-film related entertainment. XS, Tryst, and Surrender nightclubs along with Encore Beach Club present Afrojack, Avicii, Cedric Gervais, Nero and more, January 17-21.
Thursday, January 17 marks the start of the festivities as the Powder Awards after party kicks off with British electronic music sensation NERO. Saturday, January 19, Swedish powerhouse Avicii hits the booth, Sunday, January 20, catch multi-award winning, platinum-selling producer Afrojack, and closing out the week on Monday, January 21, French house music DJ and producer Cedric Gervais, a new addition to the Wynn residency roster in 2013, hits the decks and will be joined for a special performance by hip hop recording artist, 2 Chainz.

Big news out of Vegas this weekend as the Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub are opening at the Steve Wynn owned Encore Hotel. Combined there was about 60,000 square feet of new space added as a result of the over $65 million project. That's the kind of money that buys double-decker bungalows, (for those times when a single deck just isn't enough!) private cabanas with flat screen televisions, and a gaming pavilion in addition to the hot tubs and three tiered adults-only pool (for those times when two tiers just aren't enough! I sense a pattern here...)
With all the new nightclubs and pools that CityCenter's Aria is bringing to the strip, it makes sense that Steve Wynn has decided to refresh The Wynn's own amenities to keep up with the competition. With a budget of over $70 million (and possibly even up to $100 million), Wynn plans on opening up The Encore Beach Club and Surrender Nightclub Memorial Day weekend 2010.
