NYC Weekend Round Up!

Friday, August 23

One of the oldest and most notorious venues on the nightlife scene, Sway is always in style. A morrocan-inspired lounge, where party enthusiasts and well known artists alike have been coming since the 90's to party and perform. Their expansive new menu includes the Pickled Ginger cocktail and tasty Raspberry Margarita. Artists such as Diplo have performed here. The staff is so friendly (especially the bouncers) that we always feel like we're home at Sway. Catch their famous theme parties every thursday night. Gold Whistle brings you "The Light", an anything goes dance party with residents Cobra James and Dirty Finger. Hop on over Friday night as well for some hip-hop tunes and a packed house!

Socialtees Shows Some Puppy Love at Sway Lounge

Last Thursday, Soho’s '90s relic, Sway Lounge hosted a benefit for Socialtees Animal Rescue. Socialtees is a non-profit that finds homes for abandoned animals living in kill shelters.

The pet friendly environment was most apparent upon entrance as guests were welcomed by the adorable stares of wandering puppies. The night riled supporters of the cause while offering up some great dog themed raffle prizes like dog pillows and gift cards.

Cocktails + Puppies: Come out to Social Tees' Animal Rescue Party

What is better than puppies and cocktails? Well, puppies, cocktails PLUS a great cause! Come out to Sway Lounge this Thursday from 7-10pm for Social Tees Animal Rescue's (S.T.A.R.) fundraiser to benefit abandoned animals from kill shelters. S.T.A.R is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide at-risk animals with a safe haven and veterinary care until they find a forever home.

S.T.A.R. relies heavily on outside donations from people like you. Even if you're unable to attend, any donation will help! The evening will include cocktails, a rally and real puppies! Yes, squee-worthy, fluffy, adorable puppies! All proceeds will go directly to S.T.A.R. to help bail out our furry friends from certain death.
