Terroir Wine Bar, "the elitist wine bar for everyone", is hosting a Madeira Wine Crawl in celebration of Madeira Month!
The wine crawl will span 4 days from Tuesday, February 18th until Friday, February 21 and will feature vintage shots of Madeira wine in 2-oz. shots at a special price!
Not only will guests or "Terroirists" get to taste a shot of Madeira during the wine crawl, but they will also get a Terroir Madeira shirt and a seat at a Madeira wine tasting hosted by Paul Grieco!
With the unseasonably chilly temperatures of deep January making a cameo in November, winos everywhere are skipping the leaf piles and opting to dive headfirst into their collection of rich, warm-your-insides bottles of red. As enologists here at Joonbug, we love when our favorite wine bars feature off the beaten path varietals, and Terroir’s spotlight on this season’s batch of Beaujolais Nouveau is no exception. Kicking off the roll out at Terroir Murray Hill, an understated and often overlooked neighborhood gem, the party will be French themed.
Recently, Sauce launched weekly Monday night beer dinners that feature a five course tasting menu paired with beers from different breweries around the country. The menus will change each week through the spring. You can book your reservation by calling the restaurant. The beer dinners are $50/person with a two person minimum.
The Royalton Hotel's sophisticated lounge Forty Four has introduced a music series on Thursday evenings beginning at 8pm. There will be a different performance each week, ranging from jazz, R&B to opera and '60s classics. Enjoy cocktails and light bites as you enjoy the music.
