This past Friday, Timeflies took over Terminal 5 in NYC. They played to a packed crowd of screaming fans and proved they are players to watch out for in the music world. The stage presence between Cal and Rez was filled with charisma as they connected with their fans from the stage. Accompanying that charisma, was an immense amount of energy showcasing their versatile approach to each song they performed. The guys were pumped being in their respective hometown and it showed. They played a mix of well-known songs (with a Timeflies twist, of course!) as well as their own productions.
The duo is currently on their first headling tour, 'The One Night Tour,' which goes through November hitting 35 cities. We were able to catch up with them to see what their production routines are, how social media has helped them and what type of music they plan on making in the future.

New York natives, The Chainsmokers, and Mark Zarrella will get behind the decks for a night of music that’ll put listeners in an empire state of mind.
The Chainsmokers are an electro-duo, made up of Alex Pall and Rhett Bixler, who have been spinning at clubs around the country since 2009. Despite an allegiance to nightclub house music, the duo creates dynamic sets peppering hip hop, funk, disco and soul into their mixes.
Mark Zarrella has a bassier sound. His heavy drops and sexy vocals light up dance floors every week. After his infectiously visceral set at Santos on New Year's Eve, it’s no wonder he’s been invited back for this tribute to New York DJs.

Yay it's New York Internet Week! That means lots of tech, media, general nerdy stuff (not limited to Star Wars, memes, Game of Thrones references etc.), and plenty of parties! For our Internet Week only party guide go here. For other happenings this week, read on!
Internet Week New York Opening Party
When: Monday 14th. 7pm-10pm
The Vintage Twin, a New York based Vintage Clothing Company founded by twin sisters Morgan and Samantha Elias, opened their doors to the public for their 2nd Annual Summer Trunk Show.
This event welcomed family, friends, and vintage lovers to celebrate another year of the vintage style. The Vintage Twin brought the clothes, The Chainsmokers took care of the music, and Svedka provided the buzz. This collaboration led to one successful night full of dancing, photography, and of course....shopping.
The room was pleasantly surprised when Ivanka Trump walked in to show off some of her purchasing power and vintage interest as well.
This Thursday Night, nightlife/culture blog, The Downtown Diaries will be celebrating its 1 Year Anniversary Party at The Eldridge.
Not only will some of the hottest people be there but some of your favorite DJs will be there as well including MSB, The Chainsmokers, and Messkid. You know it can't be a party without ridiculous photos of what goes down. So of course, Kirill Was Here will be snapping the night away.
Since 1 Year is a significant time for any affair, we wanted to see how a person finally felt to fill those shoes . Lucky enough, we were able to catch an interview with The Downtown Diaries creator, Kristina Marino.
That time of the year is finally here. The sun is out, the warm weather is arriving, and the clothes are coming off. That means.....The Deck at the Empire Hotel is opening.
This Friday, the doors are finally being unlocked to the Deck. In honor of the Grand Opening, The Chainsmokers will be DJing into the early morning. Knowing their music vibe and the thoughts in their heads, this is sure to be an interesting beginning to a long summer ahead.
The party is going from 10PM-4AM, so if you plan on attending, make sure to arrive early. Knowing the crowds of people that usually show up at Empire, you do not want to be waiting at the back of the line.
