"Welcome to the jungle, we've got fun and games!" Remember headbanging to that in your neighbor's living room when you were 7 years old? Well, maybe not, but either way, Guns N' Roses has announced a 6 stop mini tour that is set to rock NYC, Chicago, Silver Spring, and Atlantic City. This mini lineup is redemption for ignoring us last year during their massive 2011 tour that stopped everywhere but the east coast. NYC will get the greatest treat, taking 3 of the 6 shows at Webster Hall, Roseland Ballroom, and Terminal 5.
According to Rolling Stone, the band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio just before kicking off the tour. Drummer, Steven Adler also told the magazine, "I personally just want to finish what I started with those jack-offs. We started off something, let's end the career playing together, at least once. I'd love to do a whole tour of the world. I personally – and I know that Slash and Duff feel the same way – we owe it to the fans to do a tour around the world. We haven't performed for over 20 years and they've stuck by us and believe in us."
Fat Angel is a hidden gem near the Fillmore, serving wine, small and big plates, and my new favorite, Pimm's Cups. Your drinking/eating mission is below.
1) Get here early to grab a seat. They open at 5 pm.
2) Get chummy with the servers. They're very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable.
3) Order a Pimm's Cup. Order three in fact. Pimm's No 1, the primary ingredient is based on gin, tastes subtly of spice and citrus, and is low in alcohol (25%).

Some think Billy Idol is a joke (I do), some love this guy. You are probably reading this article because you like Billy Idol's music, well I got a good news for you.
Billy Idol will perform two days in San Francisco. People say he is still very still very good. Checkout the ticketmaster reviews and you will find pages of adjectives such as "awesome", "great", "fantastic", "tremendous" ... you get the point. Billy Idol never disaspoints, and always forgets his shirt.
So if you want to remember your good old days, buy your tickets, pick up your favourite jean shirt, and get ready to meet your Idol.
Billy Idol @ The Fillmore on December 20 and 21
Phoenix is the four piece band coming out of Versailles, France, who recently came flying out on to the Indie scene here in the states a little over a year ago. The bombs featured on the new album warned us of the impact the band would have on American ears, as they gained much recognition along with fans all over the U.S.
Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is the band’s fourth album, it’s a colorful album embedded with glowing synths and joyful tunes that make for musical masterpieces. You may recognize the band’s most popular song "Lisztomania" as it’s featured on nearly a half-dozen television series and a few commercials. After promoting the album on every late night talk show from Letterman to Craig Ferguson, along with a stop on SNL, the French boys won the Grammy for best Alternative Band in 2010. Bandmates Thomas Mars, Deck D'Arcy, Laurent Brancowitz, and Christian Mazzalai will be performing on the 27th of October at the Fillmore here in Miami.
Be sure to get tickets and enjoy the sounds of Phoenix.

Things will be relatively brief this week as I'm quite distracted by soccer right now (curse you ESPN3.com.) That being said, if you're not in the going-out type of mood this weekend, I would highly recommend catching some of the World Cup, especially the United States vs. England Saturday at 2pm. If you do want to peel yourself off of the couch however, here are my suggestions for this weekend:
What to Do
Check out two great concerts this weekend. Tonight you can catch the Dan Band at Mansion and rock out to the group that played the hilarious wedding scenes in Old School and The Hangover.
