Tired of cramming into dinghy dive bars or crowded restaurants where you are so close to your neighbor that you accidentally reach for their water glass? Are you stressed because two little snowflakes dismantled your train’s ability to function AT ALL? Have you managed to sweat through all 8 layers of clothes because while it is freezing outside, it is 4 million degrees in the subway? Would you like to occasionally see the sky this winter?
We’ve all been there. Seasonal allergy depression is real, and it’s coming to a bar near you. Why do New Yorkers drink so much? It’s because the tall buildings block out whatever small percentage of sunlight peeks through the winter clouds from November through March.

Opening a restaurant is tough, opening a restaurant in New York is even tougher, but opening a restaurant that caters to New York's elite is impossible. Yet, the Koch brothers seem to have made their living out of doing the impossible, and then doing it agan. The identical twins Daniel and Derek, with their GQ good looks, charm, and relentless work ethic, have vaulted themselves into the creme de la creme of New York's restaurant and entertainment industry. Hailing from a small town in Ohio with dreams of making it big in the city that never sleeps, the twins had an unsuccessful stint as models before turning to waiting tables to pay the bills. They learned everything there was to know about food and wine, and thanks to the partnership with New York restauranteur Frederick Lesort and investor Michael Wainstein, opened the brunch club Jour Et Nuit (night and day) in 2008 in the West Village. The day club for brunching jetsetters ballooned into a huge success, and attracted attention of major networks to make their story into reality TV. In March, the first season of Playing With Fire aired on E!, cementing the twins' reputation as a household name.
