Temperatures are hitting the '80s. Families, couples, and friends alike have begun hitting the historic South Street Seaport in droves looking to enjoy some entertainment, good food, and maybe a nice cold beer or two. Starting Thursday, they can begin making their way to the stunning double level Pier 15, where at the end they will find the new, stylish and sophisticated Watermark Bar & Lounge.
The venture, a partnership between Merchant’s Hospitality and The Lure Group, aims to improve the already attractive waterfront through an upscale, yet serene bar and lounge atmosphere where guests will enjoy a gorgeous panorama of the New York Harbor, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Seaport’s historic vessels docked nearby. The stunning 3,500 square-foot venue boasts a structure made up of steel and glass with floor-to-ceiling windows seamlessly separating its indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing guests to enjoy the wonderful waterfront views all year long.
Sometimes drinking makes us think about the past. This could either result in a fond trip down memory lane or an angry 2am. phone call to that person who just needs to know what you “really think of them.” How this will end up is really a coin toss. So if you're tired of waking up with a few less friends whenever you go out drinking remember there are things from the past that are far more fun to think about than ex-lovers, co-workers, or people who rejected you. Put on those booze goggles and check out something from way back in the past that can only be remembered fondly, arcade games!
The warm weather has finally approached and it's only right to plan the unofficial first weekend of the summer right! And you know what that means. The Memorial Day Weekend festivities are set to kick off. The momumental party weekend has a huge home out east in none other than the Hamptons. The party is going down at Three Mile Harbor Road in East Hampton where the EMM Group nightlife titans Eugene Remm, Mark Birnbaum, and Michael Hirtenstein will reopen the doors to SL East for its third summer.
Imagine for a moment you're going to meet up with two of your bestest bros. Maybe you were friends in high school, maybe college roomates, or maybe you served on a submarine together however you want this to go is fine there are no wrong answers here. You decide to get together on Clark Street, Chicago's watering hole. It's a warm summer evening, the Cubs just lost another game (this is a scenario not a fairy tale), and despite prior experience, you're absolutely sure you and your wing men work best as a team, and over the course of the night you guys will only become that much more charming.
Memorial Day Weekend is the big kick off to summer and everyone is looking for the best places to party. Some people decide to spend it at big resort destinations such as Vegas, Atlantic City or Miami but if you’re staying in the Tri-State area, there is no better place to be Saturday, May 25th than Brunch Bounce at La Marina Beach.
Started by Irvin Benitez and later joined by his partner, Jose Espinal, Brunch Bounce has been rocking parties for almost a year now. Recently they have teamed up with Apt. 78 owner, Jose Morales to hold parties at the super dope, art gallery inspired cafe and lounge. The music at Brunch Bounce is an eclectic, open format orgy of genres that sets the tone for a wild day party unlike any found in NYC. Brunch Bounce distinguishes itself from other NYC parties by staying away from the pretentious, bottle popping, arrogant crowd that has permeated NY nightlife recently. The good people at Brunch Bounce only concern is that guests have fun, dance, take off their cool and let loose. At Brunch Bounce it is not uncommon to see beautiful women having a great time, crowdsurfing, raging and dancing with the fellas. Everyone bounces to the sounds of the music together, simply enjoying the moment. For Memorial Day Weekend there will be a special twist to the party.
