It’s hard to believe that Mean Girls was released ten years ago, and despite its popularity, Tina Fey has recently stated that the film will not have a sequel.
The rumors of a sequel started when Lindsay Lohan appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. While on the show, Lohan stated, “I saw Tina, and she mentioned maybe doing some sort of reunion.”
Fey had to set the record straight that a reunion does not mean a sequel. She told Access Hollywood, “…if everyone’s around we might try to do some kind of like panel discussion. But it’s not like — it’s not another movie. At most it would be like a panel discussion with a plate of hot wings.”
The funny girls sat around the piano and attempted to give viewers a preview of the show's opening number, which they claimed they wrote. However, Tina had a little trouble finding the right starting pitch. At least Carrie wasn't the only one giving a cringe-worthy performance.

Poehler and Hamm were co-hosts of the Emmy’s loser party held at Soho House in West Hollywood. Nominees who failed to win an Emmy were able to get into the party for free. Emmy winners who wanted to enter the party had to make a $1000 donation to the Worldwide Orphans Foundation. According to E! Online, more than $30,000 was raised by both Emmy winners and losers. Celebrities who donated money received a personally engraved bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue.

Forbes released their list of the highest paid TV actresses, and for the second year in a row Sofia Vergara takes the top spot. The list, which calculated the money actresses earned from June 2012 to June 2013, reported that Vergara made $30 million in that time.
With the collective amount earned by all the actress on the list is $183 million, it’s not just their TV salary that Forbes is taking into account. Such as in Vegara’s case, Forbes took into account not only her Modern Family salary but also her clothing line with Kmart as well as her endorsement deals with Covergirl and Diet Pepsi.

When they hosted the award show this past January, ratings rose to an all time high of almost 20 million viewers. NBC and Dick Clark Productions, producer of the Golden Globes, have not formally asked Poehler and Fey to return, but are looking to see if the funny ladies would be interested in hosting again.
