For a few months Ray J and model Sophie Monk have been the faces of Prince Peigns ingrown hair shaving serum. Now Ray J owes his life to this endorsement deal and his endorsement partner!
On Monday TMZ reported that the R&B singer was rushed to the hospital for exhaustion and dehydration after the Billboard music awards. Turns out, the person who discovered him in his hotel room and called an ambulance for him Monday morning is none other than model Sophie Monk, his ingrown hair endorsement partner.
Sophie and Ray J had hosted a Billboard Awards afterparty, promoting Prince Reigns. Upon their return to the hotel, Sophie could tell Ray J was not feeling well. According to sources, the two still went to their separate rooms, but shortly after Sophie decided to check up on Ray J to make sure he was alright and discovered him unresponsive on the floor! She then called hotel management and they called 911.
Get well soon Ray J!
Last Wednesday marked the 10 year anniversary of the death of TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. TMZ is now reporting that her former band mates are planning a special tribute of their own.
Following a well-received performance of an eerily realistic digital Tupac created via CGI at Coachella music festival, the group's rep says TLC is currently in the planning stages of a 2012 reunion tour in the states that digitally incorporates deceased member 'Left Eye' into the show. A tour including 'Left Eye' is just one example of the new trend of deceased artists coming back to perform virtually. Other artists who have been rumored to make a hologram comeback are Notorious B.I.G and Michael Jackson.
According to a police report filed in Miami last week, Lil Wayne’s entourage spat in a photog’s face, pushed him to the ground in the rain, then destroyed his bicycle!
The report, obtained by TMZ, alledges the Paparazzi spotted Wayne and his entourage skateboarding outside a church right beside a “no skateboarding” sign so he decided to take pictures.
When it began to rain, Wayne and his friends decided to pack it up and leave and the accuser decided to follow them. Fed up, Lil Wayne instructed his team to take the man's camera and told him to delete the photos.
Earlier this week Burger King released a commercial on YouTube featuring Mary J. Blidge singing about a new crispy chicken wrap. Shortly after, the ad drew tons of criticism on Twitter for playing off a stereotype about African-Americans and chicken.
Now Mary J. Blige is doing damage control and explains she never signed off on that version of the controversial fried chicken ad that was blasted on the Internet.
Mary J. tells TMZ, “I agreed to be a part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence. Unfortunately, that's not what was happening in that clip." She goes on to say, "I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But, if you’re a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out."
Just last week we were all hearing rumors of a Chris Brown and Rihanna reconciliation. Although they may have been in a "wild love triangle," it appears that Rihanna's got herself a new boy toy: Ashton Kutcher!
It’s no secret Rihanna and Ashton Kutcher have both been through very public messy break ups in the past, but who saw this coming?!
On Tuesday night, Rihanna was photographed by paparazzi getting twisted inside Colony nightclub in Los Angeles. Rih was having a good time with her girl when, she received a text from Ashton Kutcher. Rih IMMEDIATELY left the club at around 12:00, leaving her friend's behind. She then made her way to ASHTON KUTCHER'S house where she was spotted by the paps again! According to TMZ she stayed until 4:00am.
Coincidentally, this late night booty call happened just a day before Chris Brown shared 'Heartbreak' on Twitter— possibly about a Rihanna split! But don't feel too bad for Chris, he's got plenty of company, especially after tweeting/exposing his creepy trouser snake multiple times.
Poor Rih, she's really got a taste for Hollywood's A-List d-bags. Find a real man, girl!
Like most of the ‘Jersey Shore’ crew, Mike Sorrentino a.k.a ‘The Situation’ has been on a non-stop party train since the show debuted on MTV 2 years ago -- drinking and making paid appearances at nightclubs all over the world. Well, it finally got out of control!
TMZ broke the story that Sitch finally checked into rehab for substance abuse after realizing his recreational habits had spun out of control.
Sources close to Sitch have noticed the reality star had been showing signs of substance abuse for a while ... but it was obvious "he was getting worse" as the season went on. Several people noticed he was "acting paranoid" on the set ... and the unusual behavior was evident in certain Season 5 episodes that recently aired on MTV. The signs were especially obvious during the episode when the gang went camping. Sitch can be seen acting jittery, sweating profusely and just acting really bizarre.
A rep for the Situation just contacted TMZ to say they are not confirming that Mike is in rehab ... just that he "has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule."
MTV just announced "Jersey Shore" is returning for a 6th season ,which is scheduled to start shooting this summer. Sources say the cast and crew members on "Jersey Shore" are happy he's getting help and hope that he will be healthy enough to join them for the recently announced Season 6.
Looks like it's time to put the abs and the vodka away. As the saying goes, "It's all fun and games until a Guido goes to rehab." Right?
With Lindsay Lohan being oh too familiar with the court system at this point, you’d think she hates it or is at least sick of going back. Well sources close to the troubled actress tell TMZ Lindsay is actually thankful for the tough love shown by Judge Stephanie Sautner. She’s apparently crediting Judge Sautner’s no B.S. attitude for saving her career.
Sources tell TMZ, “LiLo wasn't a big fan of Sautner in the beginning -- but she now realizes that without Sautner laying out a blueprint for success ... she never would've gotten her act together.”
