Well the 2014 awards season is officially here! The 71st Golden Globes, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, were held last night and it was definitely one to remember. The night was interesting, if not outright bizarre. It was filled with hilarious jokes, surprised winners, and a few tipsy celebrities.
The Golden Globes are always entertaining because all the stars are able to eat and drink during the ceremony. Tiny and Amy started the night on a high not with their opening monologue. They took several jabs at their Hollywood colleagues. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Leonardo DiCaprio, and George Clooney were just a few caught in Tina and Amy's fire. Tina described Gravity as "The story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age." The hosts introduced Leo by encouraging the audience to give him a warm welcome "like a supermodel's vagina." And after Poehler won for best actress in a comedy television series, Fey quipped, " I love you. There's a special place in hell for you," clearly a response to Taylor Swift's interview with Vanity Fair last year.
