THE NAKED APPLE
The Naked Apple: Tinie Tempah and DJ Jesse Marco

Last Wednesday night I went out for a friends birthday. We had dinner at Beauty and Essex in the lower east side. This place is fairly new, and the food is pretty yummy. I had the lobster tacos. And for all you shopoholics like me, there's a small store selling all sorts of random jewelry and odds and ends when you first walk into the restaurant. The hostesses were super nice and even charged my dead phone. Now onto the good stuff… the rest of the night was a giant blur. We went to Avenue after dinner, where we ended up hanging out with Usher and Maxwell. I sang Justin Bieber songs to Usher, I was shocked when he didn't offer me a record deal. Clearly he didn't recognize my raw talent. Around 3am, we all headed over to 1oak and there was surprise performance by Tinie Tempah, the British rapper who has that hit "Written in the Stars." He rapped about 3 songs and disappeared. Jesse Marco was djing at 1oak besides being super cute he's definitely one of the best DJs out there right now. I loved his entire eclectic playlist.

PRIMP IT
Jil Sander-Inspired Nails

In a photoshoot for his cover story in the January issue of L'Uomo Vogue, Usher donned a now-famous Jil Sander sweater. The sweater, which originally retailed for $695, was chosen for its bright rainbow stripes, which popped against an equally bright red backdrop.

"I tried to break up the pattern on the garment into five different areas and represent that portion on a nail," Virginia has said of the design. She originally created the look with a tiny paintbrush, prepping her nails with Seche Vita and then continuing the design with ten bright nail colors, including CND Bicycle Yellow, Models Own Coral Reef, Essie Turquoise & Caicos, Essie Absolutely Shore, Essie Lollipop, American Apparel African Violet, Sinful Colors 24/7, OPI Black Onyx, China Glaze First Mate, and OPI A Grape Fit. Upon complettion, she used Orly Bonder Top Coat.

OnePiece Clothing Debuts on Robertson

With celebrity fans such as Justin Beiber, Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Pink and Usher, it's no wonder Norwegian-born OnePiece clothing decided to launch its first U.S boutique in Los Angeles. Situated on Robertson Boulevard, the epicenter of trendy clothing boutiques, OnePiece has certainly come a long way. The company was founded just 4 years ago by "four hungover Norwegians" who decided to sew a hooded sweatshirt and pair of sweatpants together one day. They connected the two pieces with a giant zipper and the original OnePiece was born. Since then they have gone on to gain mass appeal and worldwide praise. All OnePiece's are created with high quality plush cotton and described as "a dream on the skin." Hmmm...sold!
