New York Grub Street has reported that Cobra Studio, a newly opened yoga studio, will start serving booze! Nikki Koch, Julia Huffman, and Dana Bushman opened the 2,500 square foot studio last week in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The yoga studio/restaurant/bar will offer yoga in the morning, but in the afternoon it will begin serving food including Meat Hook hot dogs and Frito pies, as well as a cocktails, beer, and wine!
"Every time we take a great class, afterward we want to go have a drink and relax and have a conversation," Koch told Grubstreet.

MC Yogi is a talented up and coming MC who will be dropping his sophomore album, Pilgrimage, June 19th. Yogi is not only an MC, but also a yoga instructor in California. He has a great past - he dropped out of high school and became a graffiti artist, and then became a student of Hindu philosophy, a yoga teacher, and of course, a noted MC. The first single off his album is titled "Give Love" and it already has over 200,000 views on YouTube. He will also be headlining at this summer's Wanderlust Festival. Introducing Eric Harary, a producer and DJ who's sounds are making quite a chant around the city. Praised by the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Eric has been the opening and closing act for legendary big-room DJs such as Boris and Victor Calderone. Playing clubs from Dubai to Toyko to Russia, this Brooklyn boy is about to explode on the American dance music scene.

This past Sunday, Heart of a Chef, along with the Florida Heart and Research Institute and Miami Science Museum hosted a family festival with an emphasis on the prevention of childhood obesity and healthy living. Not only was the museum open for guests to loathe in everything science, but also different food stations offered tasty treats. Vendors such as Smoothie King, Fit2Go, Nespresso, EVOS, I Heart Olive Oil and Pollo Tropical were some of the many stations offering healthy and delicious bites. There was everything from ceviche, fresh crepes to delicious smoothies and wine tastings. There were several different rooms filled with samples of delicious foods.
