If you follow electronic music in any way, then you have to have heard of Holy Ship. Countless amounts of pictures and videos of the event have been posted all over social media platforms since it set sail in January, featuring electronic music household names like Skrillex, Diplo, Disclosure, A-Trak, Zedd, Tiesto, Laidback Luke and even Pharrell. Basically, it was every raver's paradise.
Now, two months later, we have been gifted with a recap video that covers the entire 3 day event. Watch the video above to witness what really went down on the now iconic Holy Ship.
Before setting off on a whirlwind tour around the world, rising dance music star Danny Avila paid a little visit to the rapidly growing ZoukOut festival in Singapore, and brought the DA TV camera crew along for the ride. The fifth episode of the video series, which you can watch below, follows the young Spanish producer as he joins a cast of dance music royalty, including Alesso, Martin Solveig, and Zedd, in headlining what is widely regarded as one of the most important festivals in Asia. The video is set to Danny Avila's original track, 'Poseidon,' out now on Musical Freedom.

And don’t forget the special surprise guest that’s embargoed until the day of the event! Tickets are available here.
Every year, the Grammys can always be counted on to be jam packed with some of the most spectacular performances and surprising award wins of the year, and 2014's show was nothing short of just that. This year, the 56th annual Grammy Awards proved to be a celebration of music past, present, and future, with host LL Cool J guiding the night through it's incredibly diverse music collaborations and dynamic performances. It was only right, then, for the Queen B herself, Beyonce, and music mogul husband Jay Z to start the show off right with a slick and sexy performance of 'Drunk In Love' that made sure everybody was going to "be all night."
We all knew that it was coming; that the inevitable fate of EDM was going to permeate into our mainstream culture. In light of this, Billboard announced earlier this week that Zedd has officially replaced Justin Timberlake as the new face of Bud Light Platinum.
This is tremendous news considering that the amount of attention that these commericals will attract in the upcoming events is going to be nothing short of being massive. Beer campaigns are huge in garnering major exposure, especially within the 15 secs framework of a commercial. And better yet, Bud Light Platinum's new campaign dubbed 'Turn Up Your Night' after Zedd's original song, 'Find You,' will debut this weekend during the 56th Annual Grammy Award on January 26th.
The world-famous Holy Ship!!! Electronic Music Cruise is rapidly approaching, and details are being revealed for the cruise, slated to set sail on January 9-12 2014. The one-of-a-kind experience will feature some of EDM biggest stars, including Zedd, Skrillex, and Disclosure, among many others. In addition, special guest Pharell Williams has been added to the list of performers. Details about the Miami pre-party have also emerged (see below), and will take place on January 8th featuring performances by Destructo, Zedd, and Oliver. For full list of performers and time-slots for Holy Ship 2014, see below. Tickets for the pre-party can be purchased here.
2013 is coming to a near finish, which means it's time to reflect on the year's most exciting Artists and DJs. The rise of EDM is no secret and not to be overrated. With an abundance of new talent, artists recreating their sound, and stellar festival sets that stood out from the rest, the EDM scene looks like it's constantly generating exciting buzz all throughout the year. Here's our pick of the Top 20 DJs who's made a great impression in the electronic music scene:
It's no secret that Robbert van de Corput, better recognized as, Hardwell, was crowned DJ Mag's #1 DJ. In 2011, he entered the Top 100 list at #24, quickly rising the ranks to #1 in a matter of only two years. There's a reason why he's been voted the top DJ, just look at the views on all his major festival sets on Youtube. His Tomorrowland set garnered 16+ million views while his Ultra set is at 17+ million views. The numbers certainly speak for themselves. At only 25 years old, there's no slowing down this festival tycoon anytime soon!
