New Year's Eve 2013 The Act: A New Year's Theatrical Masquerade Ball. 12.31.2012

 This New Year's Eve, the revamped, historical Howard Theatre will host its first New Year's Eve party, ringing in the new year with a Theatrical Masquerade Ball, "The Act". The theatrical, burlesque-themed soiree will feature dangling aerialists, pop violinists and fire breathers among other dramatic characters. Celebrity DJs DJ Biks & Spinser Tracy will spin a mixture of house, top 40 and hip hop tunes to ring in the new year for a six-hour party that will start at 9:30pm. At midnight, the theatre will release a massive balloon drop, and the screens will showcase a live feed for the Time Square Apple drop.
