This New Year’s Eve, New York City's premiere mega entertainment-and-cinema complex, AMC 34th Street is hosting the NYE comedy event of the year. Kick off the New Year on a note of howling merriment and join in a night of side-splitting fun at the 4th Annual NYE Comedy Festival at AMC 34.

This New Year's Eve, a selection of New York City's top comedians are gathering for a night of non-stop laughter and entertainment. James Mattern, one of NYC’s favorite emcees, hosts the 4th Annual Comedy NYE Festival at AMC 34, where guests will revel in live stand up acts from 12 diverse comedians while enjoying all the top-of-the-line New Year's Eve indulgences such as the 5 hour premium open bar. The fun-and-party fuel will be flowing all night and taking the evening’s festivity to new heights. General Admission ticket seating is on a first come first serve basis and includes entry to any comedy show throughout the night. VIP tickets grant guests access to other fun and festive happenings at AMC 34th Street – separate events from the Comedy Festival - including the New Year's Eve Silver Screens Festival.

JAMES MATTERN is a Nationally Headlining Comic and Radio personality, who has fast become one of the most beloved Emcee's in NYC. JAMES has appeared on "THE ARTIE LANGE SHOW" and was a regular on MSG Networks, "THE BRACKET". He is the Host of several popular podcasts including: "LUST FOR LIFE" and "GET IN THE RING: A Guns' N Roses Appreciation Podcast". He also stars in his own web series, "BUSTIN BALLS".  

As the former audience warmup for FOX SPORTS ONE's "Crowd Goes Wild", he worked with the legendary Regis Philbin. Additionally, James has appeared on "THE MOJO SHOW" on CBS SPORTS RADIO and was a "man on the street" for "FERRALL ON THE BENCH" on SIRIUS-XM.


Harris performs as a stand-up comedian at dozens of comedy shows, events, and fundraisers each year with years of experience as a successful fundraiser comedian for various non-profit groups. A regular stand-up comedian in comedy clubs in New York City and the Tri-State area, Harris can often be found at staple NYC comedy venues like Broadway Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and NY Hysterical Society in NYC.



Gibran Saleem brings his native Pakistani heritage mixed with his American upbringing to the forefront of his amazing stand-up act. While attending graduate school for psychology in New York City, Gibran was handpicked among thousands of hopeful contenders as an MVP nominee at TBS Rooftop Comedy College Competition, Gibran has since worked as consultant for MTV's Millennial Project and featured on Canada's B4U. He is currently touring at comedy clubs all over the U.S.



As one of New York City’s funniest up-and-coming comics, Justin has performed at comedy festivals across the United States and Canada. He has been featured on Comedy Central’s Jokes.com, SiriusXM’s Raw Dog Comedy, The Elite Daily, Men’s Health Magazines, ‘Morning Buzz Live‘ on VH1 and ‘Laughs’ on Fox.
In 2012, Justin released his debut comedy film, “Justin Williams: Black and Comfortably Middle-Class.” It has screened at the Philadelphia Independent, Best Shorts (Award of Merit for Humor) and Friars Club Comedy Film Festivals.


Emma Willman

Shortly after moving to NYC, Willmann was featured in The New York Comedy Festival, The Hoboken Comedy Festival, The Woman in Comedy Festival, and on ComedyTimeTV. Expanding on that buzz, 2014 found Willmann making her TV debut on AxisTV Live at Gotham, headling Carolines on Broadways prestigious Breakout Artist Series, landing in the Elite 8 in Carolines on Broadways March Madness competition, and delving into acting where she quickly landed parts in shows on Oxygen, ID Discovery and NBC.

Now, you can catch her touring nationally on the college circuit and at clubs all over NYC and New England.



Naomi Ekperigin has more than 10 years of experience as a standā€up comedian, improviser, and writer. She has appeared on The Sundance Channel, VH1, MTV, and FX's "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell" and been published in The Huffington Post, VanityFair.com, and TheHairpin.com.

Most recently Naomi worked as a staff writer on season 2 of Comedy Central's hit show "Broad City" and earlier this year, wrote and starred in the web series "Everyday SCANDAL," produced by Above Average. In 2013, she was listed as one of "7 Reasons Why SNL Should Hire a Black Woman" on Buzzfeed.com and one of "8 Black Comediennes Who are Ready for SNL" by Essence Magazine.



Alex Carabaño is of Colombian heritage but was born and raised deep in the heart of Brooklyn, which explains his comfortable stage presence. His distinct wit and animated characters all highlight such potential to become one of the next great comedians of his generation. This past Summer Alex won $1000 performing on BET's season 2 of "Apollo Live" which was filmed at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem. By day, he co-runs the popular Latin Vegan restaurant "VSPOT" in Park Slope. 



Corinne Fisher is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor who first made a splash with her one-woman show Corinne Fisher: I STALK YOU at The Peoples Improv Theater in 2010 which was featured in Time Out New York. Since then, she has been a regular on the stand-up scene playing at world-famous comedy clubs like Stand Up NY, Caroline's, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Broadway Comedy Club, Comix & Gotham.

With her writing and performance partner, Corinne wrote and starred in a self-titled sketch show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in 2013 and co-hosted a popular underground comedy variety show of the same name that featured comedy darlings such as HANNIBAL BURESS, KEVIN MEANEY, & MARK NORMAND.



Chrissie performs at many NYC comedy clubs including The Stand and Gotham Comedy Club. She hosts COMEDY at STONEWALL every month at the legendary Stonewall Inn. She recently wrote, produced, directed and acted in SquirrelCode, a web series parody of MTV’s hit show GirlCode. Chrissie is featured in the Eater.com web series “We Love Food”.

Her TV Credits include The Wendy Williams Show, What Not To Wear and The Travel Channel. She appeared at the 2013 Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta as well as the Cape Fear and Women In Comedy Festivals. She wrote and performed in her One-Woman Show “Hope” which enjoyed a 5-week run at the Magnet Theater during 2009-2010.



In 2014 Charles made two major television appearances with Gotham Comedy Live on AXS TV and Laughs on FOX. He also recently closed a successful run of the Off Broadway hit, "HA! The Musical". You can catch Charles staring in his acclaimed web series 'Its A Chucked Up Life' or performing at the top clubs in NYC.

Described as witty humor with a positive message, Charles' comedy mixes funny, personal stories with hilarious social commentary. Charles is the type of comic who is known for bringing audiences of different races, nationalities and religions together using laughter.



Nick Callas is a NYC comedian whose stand up has received much attention for his physicality, energy, characters, and impressions. He also produces and performs slam poetry and hip hop music under the moniker Diff Spec. The NYU Tisch alum currently writes, stars in, and produces short films and sketches and with the group Blanket Fort, all his content is available via YouTube and Twitter @MrNickCallas.



Jeff Cerulli is a comedian and filmmaker hailing from the mean streets of Valley Stream, Long Island. He performs stand-up comedy every night in the not so mean streets of New York City. His stand up as been featured on Mav TV’s “Man Up, Stand Up” and Sirius satellite radio. Jeff has gained notoriety from his appearances on “VH1’s Big Morning Buzz Live" MTV's popular shows “Girl Code" & "FML” as well as "The Huffington Post Live" & NBC's "Inside Edition." His first feature film “Hungry” just premiered at the IFC center and is available now through FilmBuff.
