Begin your New Year's Eve night with dinner at Asia de Cuba, the premiere dining experience at St Martins Place.  Asia de Cuba boasts eclecticism in both its decor and its menu.  Perfect for sharing, guests on New Year's Eve will delight in dishes worthy of the title haute cuisine, complete with a complimentary cocktail upon arrival. Restaurateur Jeffery Chodorow impresses an international clientele with the elements of Asian food, cooked in a robust Cuban style. Dine amid Asia de Cuba's hip surroundings, made mod with dangling light bulbs, book-covered pillars, transistor radios and monochrome prints. Perennially-popular, Asia de Cuba gives dining guests one of two seating options on New Year's Eve, with one at 5pm and one at 8pm.

 

Across the way, something akin to a light show is happening at Light Bar. Designed by Philippe Starck, this visually stimulating venue offers tantalizing tipples, like Raspassion and Strawberry Cheesecake martinis. Using the powerful and transformative elements of atmospheric lighting, enjoy a transitional rainbow of pink, orange, green and violet, that illuminate the slanted walls, covered in comical blown out faces, taken by world renown photographer Jean Baptiste Modino.  Light Bar is the perfect setting for a live DJ performance. Making a special appearance for New Year's Eve, St Martins Lane hosts DJ Melechtric who will start his set beginning at 7pm. Ed Melech a.k.a. DJ Melechtric is a London-based DJ and producer, who heads the club night DRM RLL PLS and who has played alongside international talents, such as Jacques Lu Cont, Busy P, Tiga, Digitalism, Riton Todd Edwards, Eats Everything, Fake Blood, Plump DJ’s, Basement Jaxx and Sinden. With his musical knowledge and crowd pleasing sets, DJ Melechtric knows exactly how to please the discerning ears of London's West End.

 

St Martins Lane raises the bar in the world of boutique hotel experiences. The literal glowing venue in London's West End is located centrally between London landmarks like Covent Garden, West End Theaters and Trafalger Square, St Martins Lane is a dramatic and daring venue, that succeeds in pushing the design envelope.
