This week, the Times Square Alliance announced the details of their summer kickoff event, the 18th annual Taste of Times Square. This outdoor food and music festival will feature international cuisine from a variety of New York’s top restaurants, which will be accompanied by multiple acclaimed street-performing acts.
There are 40 participating restaurants in total and each will have their own table to offer “tastes” of their menu. Some of these restaurants include Hard Rock Cafe, Ruby Foo’s, and Shula’s American Steak House who will all be complemented by the musical stylings of Mariachi Real De Mexico, the Ebony Hillbillies, and Irving Louis Lattin. You can also help support a good cause by visiting the Hard Rock Cafe station. To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Hard Rock is collecting donations to help thousands of New Yorkers that go hungry every day. Admission is free and each taste ticket will cost only $1, with most dishes costing $5 or less. You can purchase tickets at the Times Square Visitor center and Mini-Museum or on the day of the event. Don’t miss out on what is sure to be the premier dining and entertainment event of the summer!
