Spring Cocktail Specials to Wet Your Whistle
This one's self explanatory!

Spring has sprung and there's no better way to celebrate than with plenty of booze. Some of NYC's hot spots have offered up some of their recipes for their signature cocktails and lucky for you, we're sharing 'em. So whip some up yourselves, or head to the bars for someone to make it for you...now that's what we're talking about.

Yuzu Lemon Drop from Spice Market
 

 

 

 

 

1 ½ oz Belvedere Vodka
½ oz Cointreau
½ oz Yuzu Juice
1 oz Lemongrass Lemon Base
Put all ingredients in a pint glass full of ice. Shake vigorously for 20 Seconds. Served up in a Martini Glass with a lemon wheel garnish.

Chu-cumber from SUSHISAMBA

 

 

 

2 slices of cucumber
1/2 of bar spoon of agave syrup
2 oz shochu
½oz St. Germain elderflower liqueur
1 oz lime juice 

Russian Standard Vodka's Fountain of Youth

 

 

 

 

1.7 fl oz Russian Standard
2 fl oz Pomegranate Juice (fresh squeezed where available)
0.7 thinly sliced ginger
Shake all ingredients vigorously with ice, double strain and pour into a cocktail glass.  Garnish with a piece of ginger, pass a mint leaf around the glass rim.

Caliche Rum's Cali Kick

 

 

 

 

 

2 fl.oz Caliche Rum
3/4 fl.oz fresh lemon juice
3/4 fl.oz simple syrup
1/4 fl.oz cream
1/8 tsp. curry powder
Small pieces of Thai chillis

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass, fill with ice and stir until well chilled. Strain into a chilled Martini or cocktail coupe. Garnish with pieces of Thai chilis.

The Electric Room's Hot to Trot

 

 

 

 

3 slices thinly cut cucumber
1-2 slices thinly cut jalapeno (depending on spice level)
1 oz fresh lime juice
¾ oz agave nectar
2 oz Cazadores Silver Tequila
Pinch fresh cilantro

Muddle cucumber; add jalapeno other ingredients and shake well. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel, cucumber slice and cilantro leaf (all flat on top of cocktail).
