Go USA! Every four years the summer Olympics glue us to our TV's as we root for our team. Amp up your night by trying out some of these medal-worthy cocktails!                     


Gold Medal Screwdriver

2 oz. Russian Standard Gold
2 each Mango Slices
1 each Lime Wedge
.5 oz. Ginger Simple Syrup
Juice from 1 whole Orange
In a highball glass, muddle the mango, lime and ginger simple syrup. Fill with ice and add Russian Standard Gold and freshly squeezed orange juice. Garnish with an orange wheel and enjoy!



Brother Jimmy’s Cuervo “Gold” Margarita
Kosher salt for rimming the glass (optional)
2 ounces Cuervo Gold
1 ounce triple sec
1 ounce Rose’s Lime Juice
2 ounces store-bought sour mix (we prefer Lemon-X brand)
Splash of orange juice
Lime wedge for garnish
If you’d like a salted rim, rim a 16-ounce mason jar in salt. In another glass, add ice, and then the tequila, triple sec, and Rose’s Lime Juice. Add the sour mix and orange juice. Place a shaker on top of the jar and shake well. Pour into the rimmed glass and garnish with the lime wedge.

Gold Sparkling Lemonade

1.5 oz. Russian Standard Gold
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup
1 each pinch of Gold Dust (optional)
2 oz. Top of Prosecco
Combine all ingredients (except Prosecco) into a mixing tin. Fill 2/3 with ice. Shake vigorously and strain over fresh ice into a tall glass.  Top off with Prosecco and garnish with two lemon wheels. Enjoy!

Golden Mule

2 oz. Russian Standard Gold
.5 oz. Mathilde Peach Liqueur
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.25 oz. Simple Syrup
4 oz. Ginger beer
Combine all ingredients (except Ginger Beer) into an authentic Russian Standard copper mug filled with ice. Top off with Ginger Beer and garnish with a squeeze of lime. Enjoy!




David Burke's USA Gold Metal Margarita
Cuervo gold
Fresh sour Passion fruit puree
Red. Raspberries
White. Salt rim
Blue. Blueberries





Cali Gold
2 oz Caliche Rum
1 oz Lime Juice
½ oz Pineapple Juice
¼ oz Agave Nectar
3 - 6 Cilantro Leaves
Garnish: Cilantro Leaf
In a mixing glass, lightly muddle Cilantro Leaves. Add the remaining ingredients, fill with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into an ice filled highball glass and garnish. Enjoy!



The Gold Medal (by Canard Inc.)
1.5 oz of Vodka
1/2 oz St. Germain elderflower cordial
2 oz of fresh white grapefruit juice
1 oz of chilled ginger beer
Grapefruit twist garnish






Jbird Cocktails Imperial March
I¾ oz lime
¾ oz raspberry syrup
2 Cognac infused with Chinese black tea
2 Raspberries
1 mint sprig

Combine lime, raspberry syrup and Cognac. Serve over ice in a Collins glass. Top with
Champagne. Garnished with two raspberries and one mint sprig.





Kiwi Sangria by Pampano Botaneria
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 bottle white wine
1 cup Triple Sec
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 liter Club Soda
sliced kiwi
white grapes
red grapes (for color)
At time of Service: Float Cava Rose

The Olympic Torch (by Canard Inc.)

In a pitcher combine and stir:

1 bottle of white wine

 4oz tequila
1 cup sugar
1-2 sliced jalapeño peppers
2 sliced plums
1 sliced peach
1 lemon (sliced)
1 lime (sliced)
4-5 whole cherries, pitted

3-4 cilantro twigs


Gastro Bar at 35th Tapas Martini
Dolin dry vermouth shaken
Garnished with Cabrales blue cheese stuffed olives wrapped in Serrano ham.

The Gold Medal Martini by Highpoint Bistro & Bar

2  oz Stoli Gala Apple Vodka

1 1/2 ounces Thatchers Apple Ginger Spiced Liquor

1/2 Simple Syrup

1/2 ounce Goldschlagger Schnapps

Combine vodka, liquor, and simple syrup over ice in a shaker. Shake vigorously. Pour into a chilled martini glass and add the Goldschlagger as a floater. Garnish with thin slices of ginger.


Gold Sparkler (by Canard Inc.)
serve over ice
3 parts  vodka
1 part fresh lime juice
dash of bitters
Chilled ginger beer to taste
mix the above, pour into glass over ice (can be made in advance in a pitcher)
Dash of Prosecco, added to the glass before serving
Barrio 47's The Phelps
2 oz beefeater london dry gin
.75 grapefruit bayleaf honey
.75 lemon juice
Herbes de Provence
Combine ingredients. Shake & double strain. Pour into a smokey Ardbeg scotch rinsed glass. Garnish with thyme. Enjoy!
Carmine’s Red & White Sangria
Four bottles Trebbiano
¾ cup cantaloupe syrup
3/5 cup lemon juice
1 ¾ cup Cinzano Bianco (Not dry vermouth)
¼ cup Peach Schnapps
¾ cup simple syrup
16 orange wheels (1/8 inch thickness)
16 lemon wheels (1/8 inch thickness)
16 lime wheels (1/8 inch thickness)
25 fresh basil leaves
16 cantaloupe crescents
Mix liquids, then pour into large wine glass filled with ice and spoon the garnishes into the glass.
Serve and enjoy.
Four bottles Montepulciano red wine (can substitute)
1/4 cup Luxardo Maraschino
1/4 cup berry puree (Monin brand)
¾ cup peach liqueur
1 ¾ cups Cinzano sweet vermouth
¾ cup lemon juice
1 ¼ cups simple syrup
1 cup OJ
8 sprigs of rosemary cut into smaller pieces (about 2 inches long)
16 orange twists (just the outer rind of the orange peel-no white Pith)
16 red grape clusters (snip small clusters with scissors)
Mix liquids, then pour into large wine glass filled with ice and spoon the garnishes into the glass.
Serve and enjoy.
