According to NYBarfly, The Beverage Information Group has released that U.S. drinking has been on the rise for the past 14 years, and this year is no exception. Basically if drinking were an Olympic sport, we’d have the Gold. (We're not sure if this is a good or a bad thing?)
Regardless, to help quench your never-ending thirst, the Lower East Side lounge, Death + Company, has added recipes for all your favorites on their website. They have quite a lengthy menu themselves if you’d like to have your drinks made by professionals, but we’re tempted to try some of these recipes (and maybe save some money.)
The bar’s “Cocktails at Home” section gives you information on how to get started and what you will need to ensure your beverages are superior. It also gives supplies bartending tips, such as to use ice from your freezer rather than bagged ice when possible.
