Between a long day of day of gazing at modern art and hitting up the countless parties and events that the evening has to offer, be sure to stop by Meat Market on Lincoln Road for some specially crafted Art Basel cocktails made with Dom Ruinart, the official champagne of Art Basel. Only short walk from the main exhibit at the Miami Beach Convention center, the ever-chic and bustling steakhouse is the perfect place to refresh yourself and possibly meet some the art world’s hottest names.
Meat Market’s meticulous mixologists have creatively concocted two special champagne cocktails for Art Basel. The Garden of France will intrigue your palate much in the same way that the cutting edge artwork at the numerous tents will intrigue your psyche with a combination of candied carrot puree, bay leaf syrup, lemon juice, orange bitters and Ruinart Blanc de Blanc. The Basel 75 offers a sultry combination of Bombay Dry, lemon juice, and a cinnamon infused raisin syrup and is also topped with Ruinart Blanc de Blanc. The limited edition cocktails can be best enjoyed with Chef Sean Brasel’s specially priced selection of crudos like fresh oysters with yuzu truffle mignonette, atomic horseradish and habanero sauces, or Chimay shrimp cocktail by the piece, adorned with sweet miso, MM cocktail sauce and 10k Island dressing. There will also be a daily ceviche creation that promises to showcase Chef Brasel’s eclectic culinary influences.
Crudo bar opens at 5:00 PM nightly, and the full dinner menu is available starting at 6:00 PM
