Valentine's Day. You either love it or hate it. Whether you are spending the day with a lover or wincing at all things pink with a friend, there are plenty of ways to celebrate. We've got the best of the best activities going on in New York City for this romantic holiday. From the best prix fixe menus in town to fun ways to sultry cruises on the Hudson, we've got you covered.   

Fall in Love Again at The Sanctuary Hotel: What better way to spend lovers' day than with a romantic getaway at this luxuury boutique hotel? The hotel's Fall in Love Again Package includes romantic dinner for two at Haven Rooftop, rose petals where it matters most (wink), melt in your mouth chocolate truffles, Mile High Tease Intimacy Kit, and a bottle of champagne upon arrival. Rates begin at $329 and the package is valid from February 10th- 17th. 

Romantic City Cruises: Join World Yacht on one of their romantic cruises for Valentine's Day. Their Sweetheart package ($99 per person) includes a four course dinner, private table, DJ, and a single rose for all couples, while the Romance package ($139 per person) includes all of the above plus live music, a champagne toast and Godiva chocolates. Cruises will be sailing February 14th-16th and last from 7-10pm. 

Dia de San Valentine: Pampano will be featuring a special five course menu for just $50 per guest, with the option to add wine pairings for $25. Additionally, head downstairs to Pampano Botaneria and for $80, couples will get to choose Botan's such as guacamole, churros, and more, along with two spicy blood orange margaritas. The menu is available February 14-16.

A Conversation with Joy Behar & Susie Essman: Spend V-Day with two of the funniest women around at Stage 72 at 7pm. Behar is a co-host on The View and Essman is a star of Curb Your Enthusiasm. With these two ladies dishing about love, life, and more, you will definitely have a night to remember. Tickets range from $25-$35 and can be purchased here

Aphrodisiac Tasting Menu: Marc Forgione is offering a sensual dinner for couples who seek excitement. For $125 per person, you can bite on lustful treats like oysters, chocolate, and more. Patsy's Italian Restaurant is also offering an aphrodisiac menu for $65 per person.  

Valentine's Day Bar Crawl: Drink the day away with awesome drink specials, great music, and a stroll around the city. The crawl goes from 5-10pm and begins at Public House. Purchase your $10 ticket here for the crawl of a lifetime. 

 

Prix Fixe Dinner: Many restaurants around the city are offering decadent dishes for lovers on Valentine's Day. Firebird is offering a five course prix fixe dinner for $125 a person, while PizzArte will be offering a three course menu for $50, plus a glass of Prosecco or a house cocktail. Pera SoHo is offering a romantic Mediterranean meal for $67 a person, along with a champagne toast.
