TEQUILA! It's the liquor we all hate to love and love to hate the morning after. This Friday is National Margarita Day and in honor of one of the most classic cocktails around, New York City is offering up some choice deals. Order one of these bad boy margs or concoct one yourself using the recipes below.
Nitehawk Cinema will not only be screening choice movies based in Mexico City all night, but they will also be serving up $5 margaritas and Mexi-cans (Tecate and tequila shot). Check out thriller Santa Sangre after you loosen up in the cafe starting at 7pm and enjoy the music of Long Distance Poison.
Marcha will be serving up two unique margaritas for $11 that will pair perfectly with their Spanish tapas. Try their Tequila + Guava Margarita, made with Herradura Silver, Cointreau, guava puree, lime juice, and star anise syup, or their Marcha Margarita, made with Herradura Silver, lime juice, agave, egg white, D'Aristi Xtabentun bitter and Aztec chocolate bitters.
