'Tis the time of year when the we dust of our green attire, drink green beer, and party 'til we all think we're actually Irish. St. Patrick's Day is upon us and it's one of the most infamous drinking holidays. In honor of our favorite excuse to booze, we've rounded up some of the most delicious (and lucky) libations for you to celebrate with. Enjoy!
Broken Basil (Courtesy of Broken Shed Vodka)
2 parts Broken Shed vodka
1 part passion-fruit juice
1 part apple juice
Generous amount of crushed basil leaves
Served over crushed ice.
Yerba Buena (Courtesy of Partida Tequila)
2 oz. Partida Blanco or Reposado
8 to 10 Mint Sprigs
¾ oz. Fresh squeezed lime juice
¾ oz. Agave Nectar (Cut 50/50 with water)
Club Soda or Ginger Beer
Muddle mint, lime juice & agave nectar in a highball glass. Add ice to fill. Add tequila and top with soda. Stir with bar spoon. Garnish with mint sprig & lime wheel.
Prandial Standard (Courtesy of Prandial)
2 oz. Russian Standard Vodka
½ oz. Lime Juice
½ oz. Lemon Juice
Splash of Simple Syrup
Muddle mint and cucumber.
The 1829 (Courtesy of Tullamore Dew)
1 oz. Tullamore Dew
1 oz. orange juice
1 oz. Lillet Rouge
1 oz. Cherry Brandy - this can be Bols or Cherry Heering (but not Maraschino!)
Combine ingredients and shake well, serve up in a rocks glass over some fresh ice. Garnish with an orange slice or orange twist.
Sultry Irish Kiss (Courtesy of Pucker Vodka)
1 ½ parts Pucker Citrus Squeeze Vodka
3 Slices of Cucumber
Juice of Half a Lime
2 parts Ginger Ale
Add cucumber and lime juice to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add a scoop of ice and vodka; shake vigorously. Add ginger ale and pour into a Collins glass.

2 parts Basil Hayden’s Bourbon
½ part DeKuyper Green Crème de Menthe
1 part Half and Half
Shake all ingredients well with ice. Strain over crushed ice into a highball glass. Garnish with a mint sprig.
The Basil Lime Cooler (Courtesy of Canard, Inc.)
3 parts of Vodka
1 part Fresh Lime Juice
½ part Simple Syrup
Make in pitcher, serve in highball glasses filled with ice. Muddle one large bunch of basil leaves in a small amount of lime juice. Stir before serving, pour over ice 3/4 full, top with chilled seltzer, garnish with a lime wedge.
