Cocktail mecca, The Dead Rabbit, is inaugurating its public event series with a program of two nights exploring the life and liquor of author Ernest Hemingway. Each evening will incorporate a 90-minute discussion led by Philip Greene, author of To Have and Have Another, a cocktail lover's guide to life and works of Hemingway through the beverages he enjoyed along the way. Four cocktails found in the works of Hemingway will be served, prepared by King Cocktail, Dale DeGroff.
The first night, Saturday, April 27th, will focus on Hemingway's time in the Caribbean and is sponsored by Caña Brava Rum. The second night of series, on Sunday, April 28th, will be set in 1920s Paris and will be appropriately sponsored by Pernod Absinthe. So whether you are a fan of Hemingway, cocktails, or Hemingway's cocktails, join Philip Greene and Dale DeGroff at The Dead Rabbit to explore our culture through one of its finest bars. Tickets are $60 and can be purchased here.
The Dead Rabbit is located at 30 Water Street, NYC.
