If you’re not going to the Hamptons this weekend, you may want to reconsider and plan a last minute mini getaway. This Friday, July 12th, marks the debut of GrillHampton, a grilling competition between the finest New York City and Hamptons’ chefs hosted by Food Network’s Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. GrillHampton will be the social event of the season that your stomachs will not want to miss!
Eight New York chefs including Joey Campanaro from The Little Owl, Chris Santos from Stanton Social, and Cliff Crooks from BLT Steak, will go head to head or better yet, “grill to grill,” with eight Hamptons chefs including Billy Oliva of Delmonico’s of Southampton, Colin Ambrose of Estia’s Little Kitchen, and Emanouil Aslanoglou of Old Stove Pub. The winner of the soiree will be determined by the panel of judges which are restaurant editor of Food & Wine Magazine,Kate Krader, owner of China Grill Management, Jeffrey Chodorow, Windels Marx lawyer, Bruce Bronster, founder and editor-in-chief of Dan’s Papers,Dan Rattiner, and President of KB Network News, Karine Bakhoum. There can only be one winner, will it be a Manhattanite or Hamptonite?
