It's that delightful time of year again. July 22 to August 16 is this summer's Restaurant Week, a keystone of New York's dining scene that was named by someone who never quite got the hang of the calendar system. But never mind. We can't argue against more time to eat good food.
Restaurant Week lets diners sit down to a three course prix fixe menu — $25 for lunch and $38 for dinner — at any participating restaurant in the city. Find the full list of restaurants at nycgo.com, where you can narrow down the choices by neighborhood or cuisine. Be sure to take a look at the special Restaurant Week menus, if available.
And book early — at some restaurants, reservations can go quickly.
