Brooklyn Pour is Coming October 12
Drink over 100 craft beers in a beautiful art deco location at this awesome annual event

Beer season is upon us!  Though NYC may not have full-blown Oktoberfest festivities, there are plenty of events around the city celebrating local breweries, and, more importantly, those who want to indulge in local brews.

This will mark the third year of the Village Voice's Brooklyn Pour festival.  Last year, we had a blast, and we can’t wait to return.

This year, Brooklyn Pour will featuring over 100 craft brews from New York (think outer boroughs and more exotic locations like Fire Island), and more!  You'll be able to taste ever-flowing samples of season, micro, and reserve brews from a specially curated selection of breweries.  Chat with brewers, beer afficianodos, or head to the food court for some bites from local eateries.

For those who want to save money on a ticket, you can volunteer at the festival and recieve a complimentary ticket to the Village Voice's other huge culinary event, Choice Eats, in Spring 2014.  Two festivals for the price of none?  Do it.

If you can’t get enough beer, Brooklyn, or both, you don’t want to miss this event.
