Cooking Light's Global Kitchen: The World's Most Delicious Food Made Easy
New York Times Best-Selling author David Joachim brings international dishes to your home

Are you a take out junkie? Try making the dishes at home! Cooking Light Global Kitchen: The World's Most Delicious Food Made Easy is a new cookbook covering the greatest culinary hits across the world. Penned by David Joachim, a New York Times best-selling author in collaboration with Cooking Light, a leading epicurean magazine, the book boasts 150 international recipes that aren't to difficult for a beginner. Featured favorites include Classic Pad Thai, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chipotle Pork Tamales

Global Kitchen is divided into six parts, one for each continent of the world (excluding Antarctica for obvious reasons). Every chapter begins with a simple introduction of the flavors associated with each region, naming staple herbs, spices, and basic ingredients. Then, sprinkled throughout the recipes section are features on the area's food culture. For example, there's an article "Gilding the Chile" in the North and Central America chapter. Additionally, gorgeous, mouth-watering photos accompany the recipes for each dish. We can't wait to try 'em out!

Joachim is the author of the "A Man, A Can..." book series, including bestseller A Man, A Can, A Grill. He has collaborated or written for more than 40 cookbooks; contributed to food magazines like Cook's Illustrated, Cooking Light, and Better Homes and Gardens; and has appeared on shows for The Food Network, and The Cooking Channel.

The book will be published by Oxmoor House March 4, 2014.
