So many choices, so little time

It's almost Restaurant Week again! (How did that happen?) With a huge list of amazing venues in this even huger city, we've got to nose out the best options for one of the greatest culinary occasions of the year. With $25 lunches and $38 dinners, here's a list of ten awesome deals you do not want to miss.

 

A Voce

This is one of our favorite Italian hot spots in the city. With a delectable prix fixe menu including dishes like the Vitello antipasti with warm carpaccio veal, avocado, salsa verde, and chips di patate; the Orata secondi with grilled dorade, black kale and tomato guazzetto, and lemon zest; and a Blood Orange Cheese Cake for dessert, lunch at A Voce will be unforgettable.

Brasserie 8 1/2

Part of the Patina Restaurant Group, Brasserie 8 1/2 is a French bistro offering beautiful, simple dishes for both lunch and dinner. Highlights from the menu include Poutrine de Poulet aux Porcini, a chicken breast with porcini mushrooms, pumpkin polenta, and black truffle jus; and a light dessert of Macaron with chocolate ganache and hazelnut ice cream.

Casa Mono & Bar Jamon

For lunch, consider this spanish eatery and tapas places. We suggest ordering the Pulpo Gallego with Fingerling PotatoesHouse Made Chorizo with Asturian Fabada, and Chocolate Cake with Espresso Whipped Cream for dessert. Mmm..

Dévi

This great restaurant won a Time Out New York's Eat Out Award. Their special menu include dishes like the Crispy Fish Pakora Tacos with avocado and radish slaw, Tandoor Grilled Lamb Chops with tiny cumin potatoes and pear chutney, and Pistachio Kulfi, an Indian ice cream with butterscotch.

El Toro Blanco

El Toro Blanco is offering Mexican classics this restaurant week for lunch and dinner. A few mouth-watering options are their Snapper Ceviche appetizer; Carne Tempiqueña, a skirt steak with a mexican cheese enchilada, salsa verde, and cactus salad; and traditional Cinnamon and Sugar Churros for dessert.

Fig and Olive

As their name may suggest, this place is all about delicious mediterranean food. Join them in any of their three NYC locations for dishes like the Truffle Mushroom Croquette appetizer, with cremini mushroom, parmesan, béchamel, and truffle olive oil aioli; Lamb Skewers with rosemary, Greek yogurt, honey, couscous and more; and the Dessert "Crostini" with cherry, mascarpone, and pistacho shortbread.

Fulton Restaurant

Seafood lovers should take advantage of Fulton Restaurants awesome offers, including Grilled Octopus with potato, chermoula, and cured lemon; Steamed Mussels with garlic-tomato confit and fried herbs; and Homemade Pecan Pie with chantilly ice cream.

Ken & Cook

This restaurant and bar just launched a brand new menu, and their prix fixe items feature some of the best selections. For lunch or dinner, get hungry for some specialties like Salmon Avocado TartareRigatone a la Buttera with hot and sweet sausage, peas, and tomato sauce; and Profiteroles dessert.

Megu Midtown

If you've got a craving for sushi, head to Megu in Midtown. Their Restaurant Week options include tasty Japanese fare like Crispy "Kanzuri" Shrimp as an appetizer, Chef's Sushi 5-piece & Roll dinner, and a unique Yuzu Creme Brulee.

Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse
