Childish Gambino Performs New Song in NYC
Rapper Teases Track From Upcoming Record

Community star Donald Glover recently took the stage under his rap alias Childish Gambino for a last-minute show at the Bowery Poetry Club. He performed a brand new song for a packed crowd, which he brought along by tweeting the show's info at 2 a.m. the very same day.

The track is classic Gambino; unique, dorky, funny, and unflinchingly honest. The crowd exploded during lines like "I keep the wrap until I find the right one/Cause I aint Mumford, I aint tryna have sons," as Gambino proved he can still deliver the same silly punchlines that made his mixtapes and EP so memorable. The track's not all nonsense however, as Glover self-depricatingly pleas "Is there room in the game for a lame that rhymes/Who wears short shorts and makes jokes sometimes?" For someone who named his mixtape I Am Just A Rapper, he's becoming a damn good one.

One new Gambino song is never enough, and I cannot wait until his debut full-length Camp hits stores this November. You can check out his new, yet-to-be titled song below:
