Coldplay Take You To "Paradise"

English Alt-Rockers Release Single from Long-Awaited Album

Coldplay's new single "Paradise" debuted on BBC Radio (and subsequently, every music blog ever) today, providing fans with their first taste of new music from the quartet since 2006. The track's airy, string-filled opening brings their hit "Viva la Vida" to mind, just before the drums, piano, and Chris Martin's signature voice all kick in with an air of familiar comfort. The slow, soothing "Paradise" is a pop song more than worthy of its title.

Along with the new track, Coldplay revealed the pre-order information for their upcoming full length Mylo Xyloto, which hits stores October 24th.
