The internationally known turn-table genius, label owner, and disc jockey A-Trak has been at the top of his game since the age of 15 where he won the 1997 DMC World DJ Championship. That was only the beginning for the beat scratching artist who most currently was hand selected by none other than Kanye West to be his exclusive tour DJ. From stadium performances to intimate nightclub DJ sets, A-Trak is considered an electronic music icon who's record label Fool's Gold can be held responsible for launching careers for artists such as Kid Cudi and Kid Sister.
A-Trak has produced countless remixes that have become a staple in many worldwide DJ sets including mixes of Boyz Noize and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. In 2009, A-Trak teamed up with DJ Armin van Helden to form the birth of the collaboration known as Duck Sauce after redeeming the support of superstar DJs such as David Guetta and Pete Tong. The 2010 release of the Duck Sauce's "Barbara Streisand" earned the duo even more mainstream success with this overnight sensation. The catchy tune was even covered on TV hit Glee.
Following "Barbara Streisand", which received over 50 million views for it's video on YouTube, is the release of the duo's latest single "Big Bad Wolf" which has caused quite the controversy over the release of the very provocative official video. Returning to New York City's LAVO this Thursday night, you can expect the club to be howling for the real big bad wolf, A-Trak.
