Axtone Presents Thomas Gold 2012 Compilation Released
The German bootleg master creates a flawless compilation for Axwell's label

After four trying years of playing music for anyone who would listen, Thomas Gold burst onto the scene in 2012 with his massive hits like “Sing2Me” and “Eyes Wide Open.” A gifted producer and seriously talented DJ, Gold’s live performances have captivated EDM lovers around the country and solidified his place at the top of the electronic totem pole. We applaud him for his strategic straddling of two major EDM labels, Size Matters (think Steve Angello, AN21, Max Vangelli) and Axtone Records (think Axwell, Dirty South, Michael Calfan), successfully storming the scene with both companies in order to gain maximum exposure. But Gold seems to have finally chosen a side, seeing as he was selected to create Axtone’s 2012 compilation - “Axtone Presents Thomas Gold."

The 33-song, double-disc compilation is pure genius from the German bootleg master, featuring three original tracks, a plethora of percussion-filled remixes, and some downright dirty bootlegs. The compilation is out now on iTunes, but have a free listen of some previews yourself:
