It’s been a historic year for electronic music.
Last October we watched Tiesto rake in record-breaking numbers when he headlined the largest single DJ event in US history at The Home Depot Center. Kaskade followed suit this summer when he became the first EDM artist to solo-headline and sellout The Staples Center. And now it’s Avicii’s turn to play pioneer - the Swedish producer will become the first EDM act to headline New York's iconic Radio City Music Hall when he takes to the decks at his show on September 27.
The NYC date is part of Avicii’s extensive fall concert schedule which will whisk the 22-year-old producer around the country, playing everywhere from legendary venues to college campuses. Avicii will have his extravagant stage setup in tow, spinning from the massive skull-shaped DJ booth he debuted at Coachella this spring.
Ralph Lauren’s posterboy is known for his unforgettable live performances, so be sure to make your way to Radio City Hall or one of his other stops and be a part of history in the making!
