One To Watch: Willy Moon
The London based singer to make US debut

You all know how rad the commercials are for Apple iPod's. Well, if you've seen this then you've heard Willy Moon. The 23-year-old singer is causing quite a rumble in the music world. If you're looking to update a stale playlist, Willy is the perfect addition.  Expect audacious tunes and a revival of music's past with a modern twist!

It's been a festive fall for Willy Moon. His single "Yeah Yeah" was released in September, he accompanied Jack White on tour in the UK and Ireland, and now he's hitting the road for his first run in the US. The tour comes in support of his EP available on iTunes here and catch him play at Brooklyn Bowl this Saturday, Dec. 8th.

Born in New Zealand but based in London, Moon is known to smash genres together, resulting in a new wave of musical pairings. It’s the intertwining of early 60s rock’n’roll, crunched into shuddering quasi-dubstep, and some hip hop that makes his music novel.

You can also catch him on “Moon Time,” in which he explores the varied influences on his music. The show airs every Thursday at 8:30pm PST onCherrytreeRadio.com.
