A Borgata Celebration
Stars fill Atlantic City clubs mur.mur & Mixx for Memorial Day Weekend

Forget your Memorial Day Weekend plans and head to Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City for a weekend of wild parties at the hottest night spots around. With two night clubs and 10 different bars, never shall there be a dull moment; especially on one of the biggest party weekends of the year.

Taking over mur.mur on Friday, May 24th is the one and only Jermaine Dupri with a special performance by Leah LaBelle! Mr. Dupri is known world-wide for his endeavor with Columbia Records which birthed his independent music label baby, So So Def, becoming one of the most successful labels in the scene. Jermaine Dupri is the youngest artist to ever be in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and between Jagged Edge, Bow Wow, and many other famous artists, he is raining platinum. Along with him will be R&B singer, Leah LaBelle; you may know her from Season 3 of American Idol as Paula Abdul’s wildcard selection that turned into a finalist, something you don’t want to miss!

The party continues on Saturday, May 25th as D-Nice spins the best in hip-hop with hits from the '90s to bring back the boogie at mur.mur. D-Nice brings his Bronx rhythm wherever he goes; between beat-boxing, rapping, producing and DJing he knows how to keep the place alive. The same night, DJ Ruckus will tear it up at Mixx with the best from hip-hop to house, Top 40, and mash-up...and he knows what he’s doing. Ruckus is called upon by celebs left and right to personally spin at their own parties like Christina Aguilera, Steven Tyler, Diddy and even Calvin Klein, Prada and PlayStation, he must be doing something right! Along with him is the one and only Rev Run, an icon in the music industry. We all know Rev Run is one of the baddest MCs in the world while selling tens of millions of records along with his trademark Adidas, jewelry, suits and his own line, Run Athletics. Rev Run hasn’t slowed down a bit, now becoming one of the highest sought-after DJs, he has traveled the world to headline some of the most major events like New York Fashion Week, American Music Awards, and even the Super Bowl, not to mention the numerous music festivals he’s starred in.

Now, this Sunday will be no normal Sunday to relax or do the basic household activities, it will be spent picking out the best outfit possible to get wild with Fedde Le Grand at Mixx. Ask for house and house you shall receive. Fedde Le Grand spins nothing but the best being a staple in EDM. From back in ‘04 with hits like ‘Get This Feeling’ to today’s hit ‘Long Way From Home’ with Sultan and Ned Shepard, he is a rave MUST and a worldwide headliner for anything EDM. One can’t help but dance, and in the right place too! Mixx is known for the city-inspired, cool vibe venue and fading inhibitions while you dance the night away. Enjoy plush seating inside their chic, bi-level lounge and private table service areas.

Last but in no way least, electro-house mogul Martin Solveig will go out with a bang on the last night of 2013’s Memorial Day Weekend at mur.mur Mondays. With his own label, Mixture Stereophonic, Mr. Solveig was ranked 26 out of 100 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs; not too shabby. He has collaborated with some of the best including Dragonette and Madonna, which turned into him being named one of the head producers for Madonna's album MDNA. Also, if you're wondering where all the music comes from during major events like the MTV Movie Awards, it's all thanks to Martin Solveig becoming the in-house DJ in 2012. Get your best girls and guys out on a Monday and even though you know you have to wake up at that ungodly hour on Tuesday, you’ll at least have an iconic night to brag about. Happy Memorial Day! Rave on.
