We are down to three days until Paul van Dyk presents the second coming of his Berlin-based festival, We Are One. On July 6th, fans will gather inside the 15th century confines of the city’s famed Zitadelle Spandau. This Renaissance-era surrounded haven will become the center for new, revolutionary electronic music. Joined by the hottest EDM co-producer cast, van Dyk will premiere the music from his forthcoming and highly anticipated album: Politics of Dancing 3.
This spectacular event began in 2010 when Paul van Dyk used it to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. It featured the most talented artists and performers, from Armin van Buuren to the Blue Man Group. Paul used the We Are One event to bring together his ever-loyal fanbase for an unforgettable, ingenious, and inspiring experience. Three years later, the legendary We Are One event returns. Taking a step up to festival status, the awe-inspiring, cutting-edge performances will be taking place inside the ancient bastion walls of Berlin’s Zitadelle Spandau. This will be Paul’s first Berlin-stationed, outdoor, open-air event since Love Parade.
We Are One will also be the first time anyone in the world hears the music that has been crafted for the third chapter of the brilliant Politics of Dancing series. Playing throughout the day and night will be a host of the world’s most gifted electronic dance music artists. Chicane Live will be taking the We Are One stage for an entrancing live performance. This will include the debut of Paul and Chicane’s first studio recording together. The night’s line-up will also include Aly & Fila, Ben Nicky, First State, Mark Eteson, SHato & Paul Rockseek, and the German duo Stoneface & Terminal. In attendance will also be Canadian tough-trance powerhouse Arnej, who worked with PvD to create the We Are One 2013 Anthem.
The We Are One festival will once again represent a union of freethinking live show enthusiasts in the thriving electronic music capital of Berlin. Make to grab your ticket here if you haven’t done so yet. You don't want to miss out on this magical event!
“2010’s We Are One was an extraordinary night in my life. From the moment I left Berlin’s O2 Arena, after its climax, I’ve wanted nothing more than to do it all over again. For that reason it gives me great happiness to be able to bring you news that 3 years on from that momentous night, the second We Are One will be staged. Ilook forward not only to welcoming you to Berlin’s astonishing Zitadelle Spandau on the 6th of July, but also introducing you personally to music from Politics 3” – Paul van Dyk
