Introducing Chicago's New Venue: Concord Music Hall
The Second City Welcomes New Music Hall into Its Ranks

The first weekend in August, for the past few years or so, has meant one thing for the Chicago music scene: Lollapalooza weekend. Love it or hate it, it tramples into town with its fun and furious energy, consuming downtown like a blissful plague.

However, this coming inaugural weekend of August, there's another event Chicago music fans can celebrate. Opening August 1st, Concord Music Hall looks to be yet another great addition to the Chicago music venue scene. If you've been to  The Congress Theatre, Concord opens its doors just around the corner on 2047 N. Milwaukee, in between the Wicker Park and Logan Square neighborhoods.

Concord Music Hall opens with an Adam Ant show on Thursday the 1st, followed by an official launch event to be headlined by Gogol Bordello on August 17th. You can click here to browse the full line up, filled with eclectic acts spanning several different musical styles and tastes.
