Last night at the unorthodox venue, The F Shed, the unorthodox duo from Colorado, Big Gigantic, came on stage as part of their Sky High Tour to put on a show that just kept getting better and better. Their saxophone and drums filled the place up with some of the grooviest tunes that EDM has to offer. All live on set, this is more than just a DJ on the boards – Dominic Lalli kills it on the sax while Jeremy Salken rocks it on his drum set. Their jazzy jam-band sound, along with their dub-synth production, makes for a sound unlike any other.
They played their hearts out for the crowd. Their remixes of "Swing" by Savage, "I Need A Dollar" by Aloe Blacc, and "Can’t Hold Us" by Macklemore were crowd favorites and The tracks from their discography got the whole place grooving without pause. For a whole 2 hours Big Gigantic had the crowd in the palm of their hands, as they danced from front to back. The boys lived up to their band name last night, and we're sure they will continue to on the rest of their tour.
Big Gigantic has been hot on the scene since their release of Nocturnal. After it reached the number two spot on Itunes’ electronic charts, things have only gotten brighter for the band. They have played all over the country at several festivals and selling out several venues as well.
