(Formerly Metal Skool)
Genre: Glam Rock
“I remember snorting lines in the bathroom with Charlie Sheen back in the 80's. That's when I knew I really made it! Later we tag teamed a few bitches, but it's all a blur.” – Michael Starr joking about making it in Hollywood.
Formerly know as Metal Skool, this glam metal parody band is taking the sunset strip by storm. Hailed as the longest running metal show on Sunset, the spandex wearing bunch is drawing in celebrity audience members and dragging them on stage to sing along. From Lindsay Lohan to the members of Tool, every high name in town rushes to The Key club for the fabulous foursome: “Stix Zadinia” (Darren Leader), “Satchel” (Russ Parrish), “Michael Starr” (Ralph Saenz), and "Lexxi Foxxx” (Ravis Haley).
Whether it be talks of raunchy sex, a low brow cut of hard drugs or improvised jabs with audience members, Metal Skool is three hours of hilarity, entertainment and rock and roll. Bringing glamour and hairspray back to L.A., Metal Skool covers classics from Guns n’ Roses, Van Halen, Bon Jovi and Billy Idol. Their on-stage guests include Billy Ray Cyrus, Tony Romo, Jeremy Piven, Dennis Rodman, Pink, Juliette Lewis, Pauly Shore, Ryan Cabrera, Lil’ John, and Kelly Clarkson in the infamous video with her bottle of whisky.
