Mat Zo's current Damage Control World Tour will make its way down to Florida this week along his string of 24 U.S. tour dates, taking the stage at LIV Nightclub on Thursday November 21 with an opening performance by Anjunabeats label-mates Norin & Rad. In support of his debut artist album release Damage Control, released November 5 via Astralwerks (U.S.) and Anjunabeats (UK), his current world headlining tour will bring his highly anticipated big room dance sound to one of Miami Beach's most extravagant nightclubs and devoted EDM dance crowds.
Lady Gaga is a New Yorker, and as many others deal with the reality of the impending closure of the iconic Roseland Ballroom, Gaga is planning on closing it out the right way. Beginning on March 28, Gaga will host four shows at the venue, which is a dramatic shift from her usual Arena show, but will be a great chance for fans to get an intimate show from the pop star. Tickets will range from $50 to $200, and buyers will receive a commemorative upon arrival. The tickets will be available in waves, as members of Gaga's LittleMonters.com get the first batch via random selection on Nov. 21, followed by Citi credit card holders via Citi's Private Pass Program on Nov. 22. General admission tickets go on sale on Monday, November 25 via Ticketmaster at 10am.
Breakout sisters, Haim, have announced the dates for their upcoming world tour. The band, currently on tour with Phoenix, will stay on the road following their supporting dates and play fans around the globe. Kanye West stopped by Ellen today (Novemeber 19) to drop off his new video for the closing track from his latest album, Yeezus. "Bound 2" has been a fan favorite, and with the help of director Nick Knight, West brought the song to life. Featuring West's fiancée Kim Kardashian riding topless on a motorcycle with a backdrop of various American landscapes, the video is certainly a creative take on the single. International Pop upstart Just Ivy is in the midst of something special. Having already worked with Akon, getting numerous industry co-signs, and working with the legendary Laurieann Gibson, Ivy is definitely heading in the right direction. She recently released her Akon-assisted debut single, "Paradise," and is prepping her DJ Khaled produced second single "Bad Girl Takeover," featuring hip-hop star, Meek Mill, for release. We caught up with Just Ivy to find out more about her, and how she is handling her newfound success.
How did the collaboration between yourself and Akon come about, and what were some things you learned working with a superstar so early in your career?
