Finally, we're down to 10 days until the first weekend kicks off for Ultra Music Festival. Two weekends means twice the fun and just in the nick of time, the folks over at Ultra have released the site map of Bayfront Park! The newest creation in the city’s EDM explosion is brand new superclub Light, a Cirque du Soleil-inspired venue inside Mandalay Bay Hotel. Opening April 26th, Light will provide attendees with state-of-the-art interactive productions. Miami Music Week is down to the 10-day countdown and it’s about that time to start setting your plans in stone. Miami will be home to not only the fans but an ultra-stellar group of all-star artists, Thomas Gold being one of them. Gold and his camp have revealed his various parties throughout WMC/MMW and of course, Ultra Music Festival.
Friday, March 15 marks the kick off party at Space with “Thomas Gold Presents Fanfare” featuring special guests Feenixpawl & Otto Knows. The following night, Saturday, March 16, WALL welcomes Thomas Gold and Friends before he makes his weekend one appearance at Ultra on Sunday, March 17 with a performance on the “Megastructure” stage.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock since SNL on Saturday you’ve probably heard about Daft Punk's cryptic teaser during Kevin Hart’s guest spot on the iconic sketch comedy show. Set to a disco beat, the clip shows a bright, white glittering Daft Punk logo slowly becoming incased into the split helmets worn by electro-legends Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Currently, the merged helmet artwork and the Columbia Records’ logo are the only things on their website.
She's already got a Grammy award under her belt for her award winning collab with Skrillex on “Bangarang,” and now Sirah is about to make an explosive step with her music. Dropping a new video for “My City,” Sirah pays homage to her deep roots in Los Angeles where she raps true stories of toughing the streets of LA. The track is a recent follow up to “Up & Down” off her fiery mixtape C.U.L.T. Too Young To Die, co-signed by Jay Z’s Life+Times.

In the midst of gearing up for his nationwide “Road to Ultra” tour, Fedde le Grand has somehow managed to squeeze in enough studio time to birth his brand-new electro-gem remix “Glowing.”
A rework of Nikki Williams’ track, “Glowing” is the punchy, progressive dance-floor dynamite we’ve all been craving. Composing around the song’s powerhouse, soulful vocals, le Grand has sprinkled on his signature pounding drumchords and peaking hi-hats for a turn-it-up track that’s sure to blow out speakers.
Nikki Beach’s Miami Music Week lineup just got a serious facelift—in addition to the previously announced Juicy Beach extravaganza, the iconic beach club will play host to Spinnin’ Records’ first ever MMW label showcase “Spinnin’ Sessions.”
The label has already announced massive headliners such as Cedric Gervais and Showtek for the March 20th soiree, with three surprise guests still remaining a mystery. And if you closely examine the imprint’s star-studded roster, you’ll realize that any surprise acts will be well worth a ticket.
