Blanket Sweaters

Isn't this blanket sweater by Rag and Bone to die for?! We love the Nordic motif they were showing on their Fall 2012 runway. This leather-trimmed blanket looks super comfortable, not to mention super trendy. It's a perfect look layered over skinny pants and a cozy cashmere turtleneck. Cinch the waist with a leather belt and your look is complete!

Tailored, Military-Style

Jason Wu showed chic, tailored outerwear on his Fall 2012 runway. We love the sleek look of this military-inspired jacket. It's this season's military--streamlined and sporty without all the literal epaulet decoration and brass button details. Not only is it fashionable, but it just looks warm enough to wrap up in with its cozy hood, quilting, and belted waist details.

Draped Leather with Shearling

This stunning jacket from Helmut Lang's Fall 2012 is a real beauty. We love how it maintains a slim shape, while still being a useful cold-weather accessory. The luxurious leather is draped beautifully and we love the warm fuzzies we get from the shearling-lined collar. Just perfect!

Bright Pea Coats

Thanks to Marc Jacobs, the days when pea coats only came in navy and were considered a preppy girl staple are gone. His fall runway showed pea coats in sparkly magenta, as well as bubble-gum pink, proving even classic outerwear can be updated with a fun and modern twist.

Full Fur

Michael Kors is serious about two things this fall: being stylish and keeping warm. While the model may look a bit like a yeti, there is no doubt in our minds that she is fighting the cold in this gorgeous,  full-length fur coat.
