George the Salon, praised for its hair services, is now offering manicures for both men and women by celebrity nail technician, Jade Morales. Stop by on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1-6 pm to book a manicure, starting at $25.
Right after school at Pivot-Point, Morales started working at the Ritz-Carlton, then opened Kiva Salon and has now been at the Four Seasons for six years. There, she has countless celebrity clients, although she keeps mum about who they are.
"We're known for privacy at the Four Seasons," Morales explains. "That's why celebrities keep coming back."
If you like French manicures, Morales is one of the best in the business. After botching her first French manicure at the Ritz, she was determined to perfect them.
"I was amazed the customer didn't complain," Morales says. "After that, I practiced the French for three hours a day." It's definitely paid off. "Now customers are amazed at how steady my hand is," she says, proudly showing me her own impeccable French manicure she did herself. Red nails with silver tips, something she's trying out with Valentine's Day coming up.
Along with perfectly groomed nails, it's important to have soft hands too. "I swear by natural remedies," Morales says. So she loves using ingredients like honey, olive oil and organic sugar to exfoliate.
