This past Tuesday New York City locals both gay and straight revved up for the beginning of Pride weekend with a slew of pre-pride events happening in the city, but none could have been more posh than the OUT Magazine Pre Pride Party presented by Subaru and the It Gets Better Campaign, where of course it was all about the gays and all about the fashion.
New York's LGBT-friendly community got dolled up and gathered early in celebration of New York Gay Pride weekend with a party hosted by OUT Magazine in honor of their annual Hot List Issue. Actor Chris Pine, star of the hit film "Star Trek Into Darkness" graces the cover. This was an exclusive invite-only event where VIP guests were treated to a red carpet greeting, then made their way inside the affluent XL Nightclub located in Hell's Kitchen. Specialty cocktails served up by Skyy Vodka kicked off a night of dancing, live music, special give aways, celebrity appearances and of course fashion.
Guys and girls alike made heads turn as some of summer's hottest trends made an appearance. Bright colors and floral prints led the pack. Shorts and stream lined silhouettes were easy to come by and a great way to keep cool during the summer time. Designer wear like Prada, Louboutin, and Boy London were all in effect. Celebrities like Ashlee White, Amanda Bertoncini, Chanel Omari (Bravo TV's Princesses Long Island) and VH1's Angela Raiola aka "Big Ang" were dressed to impress. Guests also enjoyed stunning looks and appearances from Kathy and Rich Wakile and Rosie Pierri (Real Housewives of New Jersey), as well as Michael Musto, Blair Late (Bravo TV’s Newlyweds), and many more including a performance from Heloise and the Savoir Faire.
