Fashion vs. Style
Money can't by style

For some, the terms fashion and style are easily confused. At no fault of their own, these few are distance from the world of glamour and know nothing of the intricacies that define it. However, those who have spent their lives living, breathing, and love/hating the industry know that the two words are not twin sisters at all, but more like distant cousins to say the least. The wise and talented fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent once said, “It is about style not fashion. Fashions come and go, but style is forever.”  Those enticing words got us to thinking as to how true this perception may be.

The fashion industry is a multi-billion industry that continues to thrive with every passing day. It is a commercial machine, with an international audience of all ages, races, sizes, genders, and creeds.  With that, everyone is entitled to buying fashion, but style is that comes from within. You've heard the age old saying "money can't buy happiness," well now we're telling you, money can't buy style! You yourself are the creator of your style and fashion is used as a tool to how you style yourself. In other words, style wears the pants in the relationship and it is the one to take over fashion to do of it whatever it may want.

Like personality, style is something personal that evolves over time until it becomes permanent. Take a few minutes and think back of how your style has changed over the years. We all go back to having terrible fashion moments, but in that moment that was who you were and you were styled your way.

Whatever your style may be you have to learn to embrace it. Be confident, be bold, be beautiful, and most importantly, be you!
