Dressing for the Job You Want!
Fashion tips from Celeb Stylist Derek Warburton
In this fast paced and often competitive city we live in dressing for the job you want is key.  How often have you heard that a first impression is everything? The same thought applies to a lasting impression. There's no need for you to get lost in the corporate shuffle. Joonbug, checked in with celebrity stylist to the stars Derek Warburton who dresses Jessica Alba, Beyonce and many other favorites to score the inside tips on dressing chic for the workplace. The best part about Derek's style tips are that none of them will break the bank!  This is what he had to say:

First is your beauty look for the women. Invest in a great lipstick and eye shadow for each season. We love Urban Decay and the stylish shades they carry. This season a deep lip is all the rage. Go sophisticated with Shame on the lip in a deep burgundy and Smog for your eyes. Or go for a neutral lip (for more conservative offices). For the men, always keep groomed.

On Naty: One of my must-haves for the season for women is a day to night dress. A work dress that easily can be worn in the workplace but then translates to after work cocktails or a dinner date! We're head over heels for this dress from I Heart Shimmer. This site has a lot of big trend items for a great price.

Featured on Kelly: The perfect blazer is an outfit must-have. Invest in a quality blazer such as this one from The Sassy Shop Girl -- this piece is fashion forward yet timeless with a style and cut that looks amazing on all. The other star of this outfit is a innovative skirt called Hipknoties. But, this is not only a skirt, but 30 different oufits that you can create. Easy dressing for the workplace is a must. Think chic and versatile.

Worn by Derek Z: Men, now read this: fit is everything. If you want to be taken seriously in the workplace and get ahead, buy a suit that fits well and flatters you. The key here is handsome dressing. The suits at Express are reasonable and with the money you save invest in a quality shirt such as this one from Beyler and Turk. Polish it off with a complimentary tie. And men, get rid of the ties you have from high-school -- they won't cut it in the real world.

Featured on Kyrzada: Many women want to look thin. We personally think all women are beautiful and should be proud of who they are. The women of NYC always ask us tricks on looking their best. We cannot say enough about these leggings by Lysse. They are a fashion stylists dream and women of all ages can rock these. The addition of a jacket from Sassy Shop Girl and these gorgeous Jane Basch necklaces complete this look. Invest in statement jewelry that's real and of quality -- Jane is the queen of the monogram and gets it right every time! Worn with everything from a dress to denim - these jewelry designs are all the rage.

Seen on Kyrzada: A great vest is another way to polish-off and pull together a look. This stylish vest from Kmart with faux leather detailing takes casual Friday's to a chic-level. Add the perfect blouse of the season and a fall jean in a rust color. Add a riding boot which is the boot of the season.

Remember, the key to rocking all of these looks is with two important elements; a great smile and inner confidence. Dress the part and help score the job you want!
