CAT Footwear Presents: Footwear and Firewater!
Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection

Get ready, cause CAT Footwear is taking a break from the worksite, and stepping on to the runway. Last night, an eager troupe of industry insiders were treated to Footwear and Firewater, a runway show which imediately followed an exhibition that showcased CAT's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, and a peek at Spring/Summer 2014. The event was held at the Kings County Distillery, beautifully located in the heart of th Brooklyn Navy Yard.

After many successful years of catering to the working man, and international markets, CAT has begun to spread its wings, offering up casual, enticing, and well rounded footwear to the American public. The presentation kicked off inside the distillery where "Urban Moonshine" was being served, and stunning displays of CAT Footwear were center stage. Guests enjoyed yummy h'orderves and complimentary drinks, while getting an exclusive peek at the brand's most fashion forward collection yet.

After the festivities inside, it was time to hit the catwalk. With a little help from some big name #earthmovers, like the distillery's own master blender Nicole AustinGina Giorgio aka DJ Gene, philanthropists Alexi Panos and Tennille Amor, Nascar Crew Chief Luke Lambert, and singer/songwriter Tyler Hilton. #Earthmovers are what the brand describes as a generaton of "movers and shakers, finders, seekers, big thinkers, and risk takers".  The show, itself was a definite success, featuring shoes like the "Abe Canvas", an above the ankle beige two-toned canvas boot, worn by Luke Lambert, as well as other stand-outs like the "Carlene", a lace-up ankle boot with chunky stacked heel in distressed dark brown, worn by DJ Gene. To top off the night, an impromptu performance from the man himself, Tyler Hilton, was given and left more than just one girl in the audience swooning--with not one but two hits.

It was a night of fun and footwear. CAT's longtime attention to comfort, and detail speak volumes, noticebly giving similar brands a run for their money. Their Atumn/Winter '13 effort is a casual mix of beauty and edge and their peek into Spring '14 leaves you wanting more. If last night was any indication, there are great things in store for CAT Footwear
