A proud graduate of NYC’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Betina Wasserman has a long history working in the world of arts. She is also the founder of UNWANTED NYC PETS INC, which is a non profit animal rescue organization that saves animals from high kill shelters. The organization also focuses on rehabilitation and placement of homeless animals that have been rescued right before their sentencing on "death row" (euthansaiation.) UNWANTED NYC PETS exclusively works on a network of foster homes. All contributions from fellow animal lovers help with veterinary bills and other medical expenses for animals that come in sick or in need of special care.
