Elaine Turner Brings Texas Glam to Madison Avenue
The Houston-based designer opens her first New York City boutique, featuring her exotic and inspired line.

Elaine Turner held the grand opening party of their first New York City store on Madison Avenue between 82nd and 83rd Street last night. The beautiful boutique has walls lined with glittering jewelry, fabulous shoes, and her signature amazing handbags. Delicious cocktails and wine were served while guests admired the glamorous but functional pieces that had all the Madison Avenue aesthetic without the completely over-the-top price tags. From everyday wear leather satchels to statement clutches that range in price from around $250 to $400, the store carries a purse for every occasion. Inspired by her world travels and personal southern hospitality, Turner’s store truly evokes the glamour and femininity inherent in her customers.

Though Turner is a mother, and her line definitely translates to the functionality and comfort for a fashionable thirty-plus year old woman, her pieces are easily and fabulously incorporated to the style of fashionistas of any age. Our favorite pieces included the Presely Cobalt Box Patent Purse, the Oxblood Kennedy Wedges, and the Monica Earrings. Last night’s event hosted a slew of fabulously dressed women who fawned over the latest collection. Turner made time to chat with all the attendees, and her stylish flair and passion for her customer’s experience was wonderfully tangible, and only added to the experience.

Started 14 years ago in Houston, Texas, Elaine Turner has become a household name for the fashionable ladies of the south. With five Texas locations and one in Nashville, opening a flagship store in New York City is a great opportunity for New York women to discover her stunning and evocative pieces. We know you’ll fall in love with the luxe leathers, fabulous patters, and forward-thinking looks in Turner’s collections. With a keen eye for trend and class, Turner manages to mix signature southern style with exotic and colorful palates that are sexy and bold, but still versatile.

Turner, besides an inspired designer, is a great girlfriend and philanthropist. She names most of her pieces after the important women in her life, such as her daughters and her friends, and she donates a significant portion of her line’s profits to charities, particularly to ones that benefit breast cancer research. The Elaine Turner company mentality, which greatly mirrors their line, is all about making women feel beautiful. Their motto is G.G.I.F., which stands for “Glamorous, Giving, Intimate, and Fun.” Not only are the shoes, bags, clothes, and accessories beautiful, but the customer buying experience is incredibly inviting. Check out Turner’s New York boutique today and kick back on one of their plush pink sofas while you admire all the things you want to try on. The costumer-focused experience is what the brand is all about, and if it’s the stunning collection that brought you in, it’s the southern hospitality that will keep you coming back for more!
